Do you really look at and appreciate the things that surround you?
A succah is a part of the Jewish festival Succot. It's like a temporary tent-like room that we build in our garden and leave up for one week of the year. During that week we eat our meals inside the succah. We've had the same one for as long as I can remember. I always find it interesting sitting inside it, I pay close attention to the old decorations and tattered walls moving with the wind. I also line up relationships between the decaying bamboo roof and the outside world. This video was made to capture that experience. It's the fourth video in my Deteriorating Garden series.
