It's been far to long, I can feel my skills fading. There's only one cure: back to the sketchbook!
After grabbing a bunch of 90's computer magazines from the shed where they were effectively snail food I sat in my lounge room and flicked the pages until finding something to draw. A couple of my works have been featured on Tumblr Open Arts, "The official hub for all things Art on Tumblr".
Yesterday Instergramer @jazbright (aka Tennille Bright) won a signed print from my Masks series thanks to fawngallery.com.
"Showcasing diverse mediums, this show displays a visual exploration of the feeling of closeness. Though intimate compositions and subject matter, ‘Closer’ invites viewers to take a detailed and thoughtful look at those around us, and gives us an insight into the worlds of their chosen subjects." -fawngallery.com Featuring artwork by Sam Michelle, Ryhan Pearse, Joe Blair and Benk Images thanks to Fawn Gallery
Over the last year I’ve been busy working on my illustrations. I've got 16 of my best works exhibiting in a really great group exhibition at Fawn Gallery.
Hope you can make it down to check it out! The Gallery is open: Wednesday-Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm. 66a Johnston St, Collingwood, 3066. Desired Departure - Large scale Benk print at Vertical Platform as part of The End of the Line Festival. Big thanks to the Tiffaney Bishop Collective.
